Parampara in Mumbai – December 1, 2007

Prof. T. N. Krishnan, his sister Dr. N. Rajam, and brother Pt. Narayan Ganesh respectfully present Parampara - an unique family event with three generations of performing musicians, dedicated to the memory of their father and guru, the late Vidwan Shri A. Narayana Iyer, for his extraordinary contribution to Indian classical music.

At 6PM on December 1st, 2007 at The Fine Arts Cultural Center, Sivaswami Auditorium, Fine Arts Chowk, Chembur Mumbai.

Justice B. N. Shrikrishna (Retd, Supreme Court) and Shri V. Shankar (Educationist and President, Shanmukhananda Fine Arts) will be distinguished guests of the event.


The program for the evening will include:

  • Unveiling of portrait of Vidwan A. Narayana Iyer
  • Release of a documentary on Vidwan A. Narayana Iyer
  • Performances by:
    • Ragini and Nandini Shankar (Hindustani Violin Duet)
    • Indra Ramani and Sangeeta Shankar (Carnatic Violin Duet)
    • Shankar Devraj (Vocal Ghazal)
    • Viji Natarajan, Sriram Krishnan, and Vinu Natarajan (Carnatic Violin Trio)

Raaga Vision Podcast - Maha Ganapatim

Raaga Vision - Concerts for Sankara Nethralaya
